Mr. Bobby Joe Thomas was born in Hearne, TX on September 17,1967 to Joyce Thomas and Leroy Gray. He was educated in the Robertson CountySchool system before moving to Bryan, TX and the Brenham, TX where he spent themajority of his life working before falling ill.
In 2010 Bobby relocated to Columbia, SC which would becomehis final resting place. He became a member of the Grace Christian Church andmet several new friends. He will be remembered for his love for fishing andmaking people smile.
He was proceed in death by a brother, Johnnie Mitchell;paternal grandparents, Magnolia Gray Crawford and Ernest Gray Sr.; maternalgrandfather, Cardis Thomas.
Bobby Joe leaves to cherish his memory his wife, TinaThomas; daughter, Shelavon Thomas; four step children, Krystal Smith, CorySmith, Fredrick Franklin and Markevius Franklin; mother, Joyce (James)Mitchell; father, Leroy (Emma) Gray; eleven siblings, Beverly (Anthony) Miller,James (LaQuinta) Mitchell, Kinsley (Kenneth) Kennebrew, Patricia Mitchell, DetronGray, Demetria Gray, Derrick (Jovvonn Gray), Darrly (Cheyenndra) Gray, DequeshaGray, Darvin (Alexandria) Gray, LaTonya Gray and a host of uncles, aunts,nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
He leaves to cherish his memories his son, James Russell(Brenda) Fair of Gadsden, SC; his sister, Loretta (Willie“Chuck”) Qualls of Elgin, SC; his brother, Albert Fair of Columbia, SC; a granddaughter, Ariel Fair; nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends. |
