Funeral Services for Raymond Lewis, Jr. will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011 in St. Paul Baptist Church, 4517 North Main Street with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
Raymond Lewis, Jr., the son of Raymond Lewis, Sr. and the late Juanita Corbett Lewis was born in New York City on June 6, 1964. He departed this life on Friday, November 25, 2011 in the quite peacefulness of his home in Columbia.
Raymond attended Columbia High School and worked for many years at Chatham Steele Company in Columbia, SC. He was also an entrepreneur and was self-employed for the past 3 years.
He was married to the former Selena Adams of Columbia, SC.
Raymond was preceded in death, on December 23, 2005, by his loving Mother, Mrs. Juanita Corbett Lewis.
Although gone from us, loving memories of Raymond will forever live in the hearts of his loved ones. He leaves to cherish these memories his wife, Selena Adams Lewis; two sons, Raymond Lewis, III and Rayski Lewis; one daughter, Brittany Lewis and two grandchildren,all of Columbia, SC; seven sisters: Denise Shorter of New York City, Michelle (Anthony) Jeter of Ridgeway, SC, Urshula (Jimmy) Baker of Tenn., Inetta Lewis, Erika Lewis, Alexis Wilson, Olivia Venton all of Savannah, GA.; three brothers: Sean Ray Lewis of New York, Gilbert (Rotanya) Lewis of Columbia, SC, Kenyetta Nesbitt of Savannah, GA.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
